Disliked Worst experience ever. After a long 4-hour drive, we arrived only to face a nightmare. The owner sent WhatsApp instructions for the gate and door, but while the gate opened, the key box would not unlock. He kept sending me dozens of different 4-digit codes, none of which worked. There were 9 of us stuck outside, including 3 toddlers who were tired, noisy, stuffy, and hot. We were all exhausted, mentally drained, some of us urgently needing the toilet, and yet we were left waiting over 20 minutes for his helper to show up. To make things worse, the owner himself was in JB and even had the audacity to tell me to wait 2 hours for him to come down. At that point I’d had enough and demanded a refund. Initially, he tried to push responsibility onto Booking.com, saying refunds would take a month. That was unacceptable since I needed another place to stay immediately. After almost an hour of back-and-forth, he finally gave in and refunded me directly. This was a horrible, unprofessional experience. No guest should ever go through this.
