Windmill Upon Hills Genting Highlands

Liked The chwck in process was tedious. We had to check-in in in a different property and had to cross the main road to go the other property where our rooms were allocated. There were no bath towels in the room neither did they offered complimentary coffee, tea and sugar sachets or drinking water. they left a container of laundry powder instead. I didn't like the location. Grab taxis dropped our booking a couple of times because it was difficult to find our pick-up point. The room smelled like mould. There were bed bugs too. The walls and kitchen cupboard had dirt marks. I couldn't take a shower as soon as I arrived because there was no hot water readily available for use. I had to switch on the geyser water warmer button and had to wait for at least 30 min before i could take a shower. The toilet paper rolls looked like someone played with it, the toilet paper sheets were not full.

Liked Love everything about it. I get everything as described with the mountains view. Close to walking distance for places we wanted to go like food, massage etc. Nice n clean. We weren’t able to check in any earlier than 3pm, but they held our luggages so was ok. We went shopping and came back at 5pm to check in. The office for check in was quite a walk too that would be the only downfall. Not check in at the hotel building. But ok for us. Was just tired. Ok overall..love the hotel n space itself. Fans ok, no AC.

Liked It’s Abit confusing to get into the unit, not a clear direction and took us awhile to find the place. Also, one of the bathroom sink are clot and the dryer on the washing machine are not working. They should at least put a note and telling customer, it’s only for washing and the dryer are not working. We end up have to go home with all the wet cloths. Very disappointed.

Liked The photos make this property look amazing and it is, but lots of things make this inconvenient. It seems Windmill upon hills is the residences of the Swiss Garden hotel, with no assistance from the hotel it self. Checkin was across the road at Geo38 and when they say checkin is at 3pm, they mean it. Not 1 minute early! Limited amenities in room - no tea/coffee, no spare towels or toilet paper. No access to pool towels. Accessing the building was very difficult, we had to go through a carpark and navigate the lifts with hard to use access keys. There was no help, we are travellers from another country and wanted help to get taxis - it made our stay exhausting. The Royal Suite was lovely but if I was to stay again in Genting, I would stay at Resort World.
