Liked Wonderful location on its own deserted beach. Also wonderful, friendly staff who made us feel like home and part of the family, and even did Karoake with us! A big thanks to Koi (the talented cook), Dougie and the gan. Food was great. On an island (Palau Tuba) which must be what Langkawi was like 40 years ago. Could not recommend highly enough

Liked The beach hut was lovely and had a fan to keep us cool in the absence of aircon. The beach is amazing and lots of friendly pets. A previous review mentioned litter on the beach but it was super clean
Disliked The instructions for how to reach by boat aren’t very accurate and could do with updating as we ended up with a 10 min walk through the jungle with huge bags. The food is expensive but dinner was very nice.
Liked The location was fantastic on a secluded beach with no roads in or out. Koi and the team were excellent hosts - food is fantastic and they are very helpful when needed. The accommodation is right on the beach with excellent views. It’s very rustic but suits the price. We stayed an extra night as it was so relaxing. Walking through the jungle to the road and getting scooters to explore the island was a highlight.
Disliked They advertise kayaking, but there’s actually only one kayak and it’s not in great condition. Apart from that the facilities and the buildings are quite run down but like everything around Langkawi it is just the way it is.
Liked Beautiful location and only accessible by boat made it an adventure to get to. Great place to switch off and relax. Koi was a great cook and made us feel so welcome.
