Frustrating

Liked Very irresponsible to have accepted and then request to cancel the booking

Disliked Hassle to have gone thru all the booking process and then being told to cancel it bcoz system got issue on the availability

NON EXISTENT 2 BEDROOM APARTMENT WITH SEAVIEW

Liked The lifts were quick, rooms were clean, and most essential amenities were provided.

Disliked Well, we booked this particular apartment as it was a 2 bedroom apartment with sea view and the seaview pictures that were posted on the advert we really liked what we saw. Firstly we never met Cc the host as it was a self check in via a locker which we weren't aware of till we reached Penang. After landing in Penang as we were in taxi to Tropicana Macalister I recieved a last minute message to say that my apartment was changed from Sea view to city view as there was a supposed leak in our apartment and wouldn't be fixed for 7 days.We had booked it for 6 nights. I tried to contact the host Cc by telephone who wouldn't pikup initially when finally got through she didn't speak a word of English and therefore couldn't resolve the room situation .. she told us to contact her via watsapp messenger and would translate and respond... She told us the apartment that we were changed to was bigger and better than the sea view apartment and didn't offer to resolve the situation by putting us in an alternative sea view apartment. We didn't have any choice but to accept as she refused to meet us and show us around. Once we were inside the apartment we saw that it wasn't even a city view as our windows were facing a 35 storey construction sight. Absolutely shocked and upset we contacted her again and she said the seaview apartment wouldn't be available till 5th day and we were leaving on 6 day so wouldn't be any point moving and disrupting our stay, so had to stay in apartment . The apartment itself was small and barely any space to move in one of bedrooms without banging ankles constantly on partition door.. it wasn't a proper second bedroom it had temporary partition doors it lacked privacy and space. The sea view and city view didn't exist..
