Liked I am not sure where to start. The host was a really great guy who took care of us from the beginning to the end. Right at the check-in, he asked us if we needed a scooter and drove us to a very affordable place. He cleaned the rooms daily, and it was spotless. He even gave us ride to a ferry terminal after checking out. We will be coming back one day!

Liked We stayed at Ong’s Homestay and had a truly wonderful experience. The owner was extremely pleasant, attentive, and made sure our room was cleaned every single day. The room was very spacious with strong AC and a balcony that was perfect for drying clothes and enjoying the warm outdoor air. The location was also ideal close to Kuah, food, and shopping, making it convenient for getting around. The only drawback is that there is a dog rescue center directly beside the homestay. I’m a heavy sleeper, so I didn’t hear the dogs at night, but my spouse, who is a light sleeper, did notice the barking during the night. Thankfully, nights were quiet and restful. Overall, for the price and comfort, this place is an excellent budget-friendly stay. We would still highly recommend it, especially if you'd like to support a hardworking local host running his own small Airbnb-style accommodation.
