The Cardamom Hostel

a great location

Liked if you are really stoked about walking around Malacca, this hostel is in a really amazing spot, being barely 5 minutes away from a lot of central areas. the showers and toilets are great as well as the owner who was very welcoming and willing to help if we ever had questions

Disliked if you are two grown adults going here, i wouldnt recommend the bunk beds. was worried they would collapse lol

Ok for a few nights

Liked The owner is really nice. And it's very affordable.

Disliked The hostel is pretty basic and not nicely decorated like others Since there are not many bridges you offen have to walk a lot to get somewhere. The bed was not very comfortable. The bathrooms could also be better.

A clean, comfortable, very quiet place in a great location at a good price

Liked Upstairs rooms on a quiet street but only 5 minute walk to all activities. Good sized double room with comfortable queen bed. 3 showers/toilets, hot/cold/ambient water from reverse osmosis filter. Cups/bowls/utensils and sink available. Washing machine for 5RM per load. Drying rack inside or outside window. Very quiet day and night. Pleasant host/ess responsive via WhatsApp.

Disliked No towel provided. Small bed blankets.
