Liked Great team. Great atmosphere. Perfect location next to main attractions but fully secluded. Beautiful gardens. Comfy large beds. A home away from home.

Great old building but rooms need an upgrade.

Liked The staff were exceptional and did everything they could to make us welcome and comfortable. The manager Mr Salva was excellent.

Disliked The owners need to update the rooms, particularly in modernising the bathrooms. Many small items needed repair.

Liked Very charming location with beautiful flowers, a nice tea bar, and the attractiveness of an historical structure. Refreshing air outiside in the beautiful back garden.

Disliked The room we were in (Margarethe) was way too humid, I would have probably not been able to stay one more day.

Liked Quirky British/Indian property in a fabulous, peaceful location on the hillside above Tanah Rata. The gardens and grounds are beautifully maintained, and provide a lovely setting for delicious cream teas. The rooms are set around the grounds, with wonderful views across the highlands. Staff are extremely welcoming and helpful.
