Temple Tree Resort

Liked Temple Tree is a beautiful resort, our 2 bed house was restored thoughtfully, and the reception area and restaurant were really nice spaces. The pool also was lovely. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, and we ate there a few times and each time the food was great! Location was also good - close enough to town without being in it meaning it was quieter. No issues getting Grabs down to town when we wanted to.

Disliked There were aircon units in each of the bedrooms which kept it nice and cool for sleeping but the property would really have benefit from aircon in the lounge. The house was so hot that we were unable to use the lounge at all, which was a shame as it's a nice space. We also had cockroaches in the bathroom but maybe this is to be expected in this climate (and in a property where there are gaps in the walls and floor because it's an old house)

This place is a treasure! I'd much rather stay there than at any of those soulless places on the bea

Liked Staff were all lovely, the whole place is so quaint and picturesque, loved the house cats everywhere, lovely breakfasts and dinners, nice pool.

Disliked Only thing I didn't love was that our room was very noisy. Estate house 5 right by the driveway and reception so quite noisy. Nothing that they can do about it but I'd avoid thatcroom in future. Otherwise I'd happily stay there again and again.

Liked The total setting, the beautiful old heritage home combined with the modern restaurant, was amazing. The staff were wonderful, especially Miss K.

Disliked There was a small miscommunication upon arrival, but they picked it up immediately and handled it perfectly.
