Tamarind Villa in langkawi

Highly recommended!

Liked We had a wonderful stay at Tamarind Villa. The service and hospitality were excellent, the villa was very clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The stunning view made our stay even more special.

Liked size of the property and garden - it was massssive.. big rooms. swimming pool - clean with filtering running constantly. staff arranged for a flaoting ring for my daughter next day on my request, which is good. ambience and surrounding - very good

Disliked Only swimming pool is the main entertainment. there is quite a lot of space available. having other sports facilities like Table tennis, pool table, carrom board etc. can actually make it more attractive. Kitchen gas stove - it didn't work.. the knobs were problematic and we had to keep holding the knob for the flame to be on, which was annoying and couldn't do any meaningful heating or cooking. The stove needs definite overhaul.

If I should stay again, I would not hesitate

Liked Let me start from the end - we did not want to leave :-) Tamarind Villa is big and for family of two adults and three kids provided everything we needed. We could sit together on the terrace, playing desk games but whenever anybody wanted some chill space, there was plenty. Swimming pool was very refreshing in hot days. The villa is located a bit in middle of nowhere so it was very quiet and relaxing. If this is something you seek, you cannot make a mistake to stay there. Small and big gekkos around and a resident hornbill, funny guy coming every morning to check what's going on. A car is needed to get around but everything is close on Langkawi so this is not a problem if you hire a car or scooter. Honestly, I can even imagine spending whole week just in the villa, doing nothing :-)

Disliked Some wear & tear, dishwasher was out of order, also one of the fridges but as there are three, no problem with that.

Liked Serene Views, Place & Setting, Ambience, Facilities, Care taking Staff, Nature, Birds & Animals, Quietness, Air Circulation, Landscaping & Seating/Resting Areas, Kitchen, Wi-Fi & Cellular Connectivity and Comfort are all tick marked and at benchmark levels.

Disliked Critters and small household frogs, lizards etc. enter the room and washroom; though the care taking staff is very accommodating and takes care of these issues or any other immediate & necessary requirements.

Liked Very nice villa, private, great for viewing wildlife and excellent staff
