Disliked At first it was difficult to find the property and how and where to check. Once we were there, it made more sense The property could use a little maintenance but it was adequate and well equipped for our extended stay

Liked Excellent prime location, friendly and professional host and close by to the shops, shopping mall, cafe and restaurants. I highly recommend this amazing place to everyone. Thank you sooo much once again for welcoming me warmly into the apartment suite.

Liked The apartment is spacious and well laid out. The washer/dryer is an especially nice convenience. Mohammed, the man who brought whatever we requested and cleaned our room, was excellent. We'd rate him a 9 out of 10. Super nice guy who is eager to please. The apartment gym and pool are great for a temporary place to stay and there are markets and restaurants on the first floor which are pretty nice. The location of the apartments is central to everything. The price was less expensive than most.

Disliked We have been staying at Mercu Summer Suites for 3 years while visiting Kuala Lumpur. The first year we visited, our apartment was excellent, the following year, it showed more wear and things were breaking down. This year will be our last year at Mercu Summer Suites...at least with this particular host. When we arrived at Mercu, we were given instructions for self-checkin which involved going to the security desk and getting them to let us into a room with locked boxes. We had to enter the passcode to gain access to the elevator pass inside. When we arrived to our room, the door has a lock on the outside, whith a lick that does not appear to be a lock until you tap on it. Then the keyboard lights up for you to enter the passcode. Then it goes through locking and unlocking several times after you've gained entry. It does the same thing when trying to lock it. The whole door lock function was really annoying. When we entered the room, the smell of moth balls hit us like a wall. The floor was sticky and we immediately noticed the dirt/mold/cracks in the walls. The bedding looked questionable, so we asked for new sheets and pillows, which the employee was quick to put on the bed. One of the bedspreads smelled really strong of cologne or perfume. Even after I washed it, it continued to have the overwhelming odor. The towel rack in the bathroom was broken. The coffee mugs had old coffee dried on them. There was one very small dish cloth and nothing to dry dishes with. I asked for a dish cloth multiple times but never received one. The tea kettle did not work, so the employee brought us another one. There were no bath towels, and only 2 rolls of toilet paper and no squeegee for the bathroom floor (even though the toilet is in the same space as the shower). Honestly, it appeared that the apartment had not been rented in a long time and nothing had been done to prepare for us to occupy the room other than provide 2 bottles of drinking water.
