Liked I love how central the place is. It is literally just one small road away from the tourist lane. And even though it's next to a touristy place, there were hardly any noise. The whole house is a blast from the past, from the sliding metal gate at the front, to the simple kitchen/toilet setting at the back. The room was also very spacious and beautiful. The interiors are simple and bare, but it fit the concept so well.

Disliked Because it hasnt been heavily renovated, the gate and doors will need a little push whenever you go through them. And if you don't watch how you close the doors, you will be met with a loud thud as it crashes into the door frame. It's a minor issue. At night, there were 3 cockroaches running around in the toilet/kitchen area. Managed to kill 2, but the other ran. I suppose this is normal with how the whole setup was.

A centrally located heritage stay with character, but not the most comfortable experience.

Liked The location is the main highlight — it’s right in the heart of George Town, close to plenty of food, street art, and attractions. The host was very responsive and sent clear directions before arrival, which made things easy. Collecting the keys was straightforward too — they were kept in a lock box, and I received the password the morning before arriving.

Disliked The place felt old, dusty, and not very comfortable. The bathroom and shower are located downstairs in an open courtyard, which was quite inconvenient, especially when it rained. The narrow staircase had no railings, making it unsafe to go down. It was also difficult to reach the main road to get a Grab, particularly in bad weather since there’s no covered walkway. The property could use some extra touches like floor mats and tissue boxes to make it more pleasant.

Great place for a couple to experience genuine & authentic Georgetown. Would recommend.

Disliked Very hard to dislike anything in this property but be aware its authentic. Kitchen and shower are outside but really adds to the vibe. There could be a few more glasses and mugs available but a really great stay.

Disliked Loud at night - front door, due to the old house style, is not solid and lets AC out. Towels provided smelled a bit damp
