Songtam Hotel

Budget hotel with a spacious room. A Chinese restaurant is just downstairs.

Liked The room was spacious and the bed is comfortable. Even the bathroom is big. The room has a little cupboard to put your clothes and/or to hang your stuffs.

Disliked The check-in counter, which is located in the Songtam Restaurant, is not conducive. There was a table of customers eating when I wanted to check in. If no one tells me where is the counter, I won't know. And the person is a foreign worker. Not being biased, but he was not welcoming (sulky face). *Perhaps, get an actual reception staff to do this job.

Disliked not muslim friendly. the host also dont response to me during check out, he leaves no instruction for check out. it was so annoying.

Convenient, comfortable and efficient.

Liked Spacious, very clean and practical (there is a rack and hangers to put our clothes despite no wardrobe). The bathroom was also clean and water pressure is brilliant

Liked The room is clean, bedsheet, towels, floor, bathroom. The bed is comfortable and the air-conditioning is good. Keep up with the cleanliness 👍🏻

Disliked The staff response is rather impolite and emotional, perhaps due to their inter communication wasn't too good. He doesn't answer calls and does not respond to text messages.

Liked Simple but spacious room a bit outside the center of Ipoh, but many restaurant options close by. Good option for a couple nights in Ipoh.

Liked Very comfy bed and relatively clean. Also good location and friendly staff

Disliked The bathroom door doesn’t close and there’s a strange smell in the room
