Do not stay here
Liked The room itself wasn’t what we paid for so I can’t comment on that. The two rooms we had to shuffle around in over two nights having paid for a two night stay expecting to be in the one room advertised were smaller & the facilities had issues. Wifi wasn’t working in the first room, second room was dirty & the wifi was working but barely.
Disliked DO NOT BOOK THIS ROOM OR ANYTHING WITH THIS COMPANY The staff were horrible, the ‘manager’, I say in quotations because I didn’t really know the roll of anyone as it’s managed through online communications, you don’t actually meet anyone expect the person you pick up the key off of at the store across the road. The manager lied firstly as we arrived to the property to find out our room was booked & they had double booked us. It took a while to get in contact with this person to which they apologised for everything as said our night would be free because of this. The next day he proceeded to take back that he ever said it was free. They moved us into two rooms & we had to wait 2 hours between rooms to re check in to the second room, we paid for a 2 night stay in this room advertised because we were here for a relaxing weekend away. The rooms they moved us into were 100% worse than what we paid for and what is advertised & they began to laugh react at things I would say when I was just asking for compensation for this horrible experience. So unprofessional, so poorly handled, just a overall terrible experience. They also blamed booking.com for the issue saying booking.coms system was the issue yet they still did not handle the situation well if it was a booking.com fault. Either way, my partner and I are still waiting for compensation for the worst weekend I’ve had in a very long time.
