Lovely space and location but attention to details could be better.

Liked The location is great and the space is a lovely heritage home. Enough space to work in. Communicative hosts. I was lucky that there was no one staying upstairs above me as the noise would have been a lot.

Disliked My main concern was the lack of security. There is a common door to an upstairs listing and there is just a padlock on the iron gate and the wooden door does not fully close but the back door is worse as it is just a wooden door with wooden latches and no key or lock, and opens into a noisy parking lot. More attention can be paid to cleanliness as there was dust on several surfaces. Bedsheet on bed was put on inside out. They also were not able to provide a thin bedsheet as I cannot use the airconditioning all night.

Liked Location and the character of the area. Size of the downstairs unit.

Disliked The following comments I make not as a criticism but more as a recommendation to the owners. Change the awkward pair of combination padlocks to access the building and then the actual accommodation.Along with confusing email instructions to use a lockbox that did not pertain to our accommodation. You need a better system than this. Please clean up the front entrance on the foot path with the upturned wheelie bin and rubbish associated with it. The entry foyer should not be full of bags of recycling and cleaning products. This is not a good look. I know you are going for a rustic eclectic look, but goodness sake tidy it up. Attention to detail would make this accommodation much more desirable. Thank you.

Disliked The flooring is better suited for outdoor instead of indoor. It feels gritty.
