Great Stay and Fantastic Community

Liked The hostel is in prime location right besides Jonker walk and river walk. The hostel is well managed and kept clean. Mr Howard is a fine gentleman running this establishment like a small community centre of its own. You’ll feel like you’ve visited a second home with old friends, rather than a nameless hostel with faceless people. Coffee, tea and essentials are available 24/7 and the seating area is cozy and friendly atmosphere.

Disliked Nothing. Maybe fix the reading lights that is present in dormitory. But nothing that would break the experience.

Liked As always great atmosphere, lovely volunteers, great to start again second round. feels like a home seat from home. Thank you all

Aa great stay with great social atmosphere.

Liked A great and pleasant stay with clean amenities, nice social area and a good social program.

Disliked AC was turned off around 10. I came back late once and it was hard to continue sleeping due to the heat.

Would visit again and spend more time!

Liked Super great location, felt like a very social place to spend time, enjoyed the multiple common areas! The staff were all really lovely and so happy to help and answer questions. Rooftop was a great spot to hang out and the group chat seems like a great idea

Disliked The private rooms seem a bit more basic, than the dorms and could maybe use a bit of TLC. There were also lots of ants in some of the bathrooms

Great social atmosphere very kind staff.

Liked Location was great can walk everywhere. The staff and his volunteers were all kind and very nice. Great social atmosphere with Tony organizing events very often like dinners etc. I was ill during our stay and he was really helpful on helping me get to the hospital and checking I was okay! I would totally recommend staying here to hang out with people.

Disliked The private room was a bit old and could do with a update. The dorm beds looked nicer. Some of the furniture in the library smelt like cat pee.
