Regalia Skypool KLCC

Liked Infinity Pool

Disliked Hostel and the location and that I could not use the Gym with my card. Other dormies could.

An untidy hostel in a big tower suitable for untidy people

Liked The rooftop pool was good

Disliked It was crowded , there isn’t any reception. The bathroom has cockroaches.

Nothing terrible, nothing amazing. Good enough for sleeping and a dip in the pool.

Liked The pool is the biggest plus, although it belongs to the building rather than the hostel. Easy communication with the staff—practically instant via WhatsApp. There is a shop downstairs.

Disliked There were no instructions on how to enter the building, and Google Maps gave incorrect directions. For someone not from Malaysia, the setup is completely unintuitive (there is no visible entrance door). Guests smoke on the balcony, so the smell of smoke drifts inside whenever there’s a breeze. The air conditioning in my room was set to a freezing temperature. Toilet paper was sometimes missing in the bathroom (and the sink faucet wasn't properly attached). The kitchen was practically unusable. The owner insisted on having the booking PIN sent via WhatsApp, which is unacceptable. I understand it’s a budget hostel, but issues like the kitchen and the smoking situation are real problems.

The pool + the female dorm = recommend

Liked Absolutely breathtaking view from the pool area, I’d never think a hostel can have it. The room was descent, it comes with a private bathroom and kitchen. Some people stay here long term, like few month, so you can ask them about the best spots. The girls in my room were amazinggggg, O wish I’d stay longer.

Disliked The pool view

Liked Infinity pool

Disliked Location…

Good choice

Liked Big hotel residence that has some dorms. Safe place with access to the pool, the view is amazing. Good location next to metro station with lots of restaurants around. Easy communication, self check in.

Disliked The facilities in the room could be improved or have some maintenance, but this does not affect your stay for real. Everything works.
