Quint Residence, Georgetown - Rustic Heritage Guesthouse by ALV

Spacious, centrally located accommodation, good for large groups

Liked The location was excellent. It is a charming, spacious and nicely renovated property in an old historic building. We booked this accommodation as were travelling with friends and liked the idea of communal areas to hang out together. The Hin Bus Depot is in walking distance, as was a great food court (99 McNair Food Hub) and supermarket at 1st Avenue Mall.

Disliked The bed in the ground floor bedroom sagged and was held up with bricks - it should be replaced. The courtyard that comes off the ground bathroom had an old air conditioning unit, boxes and rubbish which was not a good outlook. Drinking water was not provided, or tissues, hand towels and tea/coffee etc.

Stay was perfect, very good value for money. If I’m ever back in Penang, I know where to stay. Quick tip- Bar Backdoor B

Worth the stay for the price, you’re paying for exactly what is described. I would come back again.

Liked Great location, walking distance to amenities like a department store with a supermarket and to Jalan Penang. Washing machine was a great touch too, helped with keeping clothes fresh as it’s hot everyday. It is clean and the stuff were quick to reply.

Disliked If I had to nick pick, the fridge in one of the rooms wasn’t really working so it stayed warm and had a pool of water in one of the trays. The card swiped on doors also keep beeping if you don’t close the doors within 5 section was annoying. Lastly, a couple of the beds dipped like a slope on one side.

Liked Best location to stay in Penang. Beautiful stay. Premium location premium stay

Liked The location - just a short walk from Sup Hameed, Inside Scoop, Komtar, supermarket, Hin Bus Depot, etc

Excellent accommodation to base for enjoying Georgetown Penang. Very quiet, very clean, very cool.

Liked Great location, very well appointed, very clean, great linen and bedding. Very responsive hosts. Very comfortable beds and great air conditioning.

Disliked We needed help for Information about on-street/open lot car parking.
