Enjoyed KL but property a disappointment

Disliked Was not advised we would need to pay a deposit on arrival in local currency It was very stark and bare - a few nice touches - pictures, plants would go a long way Coffee and tea should have been provided Not homely at all

Disliked DO NOT BOOK WITH THESE PEOPLE STAR RESIDENCE IS A NICE PLACE TO STAY BUT DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS ACCOUNT AS THEY DO NOT HAVE ROOMS READY FOR YOU AND WE HAD TO STAY ONE NIGHT WITHOUT ROOMS WHICH THEN TOOK A DAY OFF OUR TRIP. DO NOT BOOK

Disliked I made a reservation that was paid for. The property advertised 24 hour concierge which is the only reason I booked here, knowing I would be arriving to KL at 1am. Upon arrival, I called the host and he said he made a mistake and overbooked because it was a holiday weekend. He said there were no rooms available and he’d offer a refund. He then told me the security could help me out and dismissed the total inconvenience. He told me I could walk the streets to find a hotel. Mind you, I’m a female it was 3am and my first time in this country. Thankfully the security were able to call a few places for me after I returned to the accommodation at 4am with no luck of getting into somewhere else. It was a total nightmare.
