Very disappointing — misleading description and endless extra charges

Disliked I booked this place for two nights based on the description stating that it had a fully equipped kitchen. This was simply not true. There was only a small fridge, kettle, a few bowls and two small glasses. No drinking water, coffee cups, or anything resembling a properly equipped kitchen. There was also no Wi-Fi unless you paid an additional RM20 per day. When I tried to cancel because the accommodation did not match the description, my request was refused. I then tried to change the dates, but on top of the price difference, I was asked to pay another RM100 directly to the host. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and I had to put cushions under the mattress for some support. The bedroom light and fan were controlled by the same switch, so you either had both on or both off. The bathroom extractor fan was unbelievably loud — it sounded like a helicopter. The only positive was that the place was clean. Check-in and check-out were also unnecessarily complicated. There was no one available to provide access to the mailbox where the key was kept, meaning you had to wait for someone to open the building door.
