A comfortable, Muslim-friendly stay with great views, a convenient location, and excellent amenities
Liked I liked how seamless the entire check-in and stay experience was. True to its listing, the property was very Muslim-friendly. There was a Qibla indicator on the ceiling showing the direction of prayer, and the host even provided separate utensils specifically for Muslim guests, stored in a dedicated storage box. The location was excellent, close to Georgetown but far enough from the busiest areas to avoid the crowds. It was also within walking distance of the beach without being directly in the most crowded beach section. Having a parking space right in front of the building was very convenient, as we did not need to use street or basement parking. As a bonus, the apartment offers a beautiful sea view from its high-floor location.
Disliked Honestly, there was very little to dislike. The only minor inconvenience was that each lift accommodates a maximum of seven people. Since the apartment is on a higher floor, the lifts tended to fill up quickly during busy periods, and we occasionally had to wait up to 10 minutes. It was not a major issue for us, but it could be inconvenient if you are in a hurry.

Good location and livable but don't expect more
Liked Good location. E-hailing takes you to downtown in a few minutes.
Good view on sub-penthouse level facing the sea.
The home has a spacious living room with dining area and sofa for family with small kid.
The room is relatively clean compared with other properties in the same building according to online reviews.
Prompt response from the owner during business hour.
The washing machine is a great amenity for week-long stay.
The lift is not bad at all, in opposite to what described by others in the review of the building, likely because of the advantage of the sub-penthouse level.
Disliked The furnishing is usable but basic in quality. The dining table is wobbling and small for any group of more than 2 adults. The mattress gave us back pain after one night's sleep.
The walls are not soundproof. The main bedroom is noisy at night due to AC/fridge/music from other units and it is hard for us to sleep. We have to sleep in the second bedroom which doesn't share the wall with neighbors. The owner is promptly responding our complaints but unfortunately, because of the architecture of the building, there is no permanent solution.
The house needs more/better amenities for a more convenient/comfortable stay. We have to go to the supermarket to get missing things like paper tower and laundry detergent. The dish soap, hand soap, shampoo, and body wash do exist but don't look good in quality. W also bought bed linen by ourselves from a department store.
The listing should be more transparent. The listing doesn't show the actual address of the building upfront, which creates confusions and barriers for us to read more online reviews before reservation.
The owner needs to try harder in give tenants a more welcomed vibe. Not just the speed of response, but truly relates to the situation and values the experience of the resident.
