Good accommodation in an old building

Liked Good accommodation in Kuching. It is a big apartment which can host up to 6 people with kitchen and two bathrooms. Location is great with a 7-11 just downstairs and many food options in walking distance. There is also a washing machine which is useful. Check-in and out process rather easy. Very responsive host over Whatsapp!

Disliked The building is old and has clearly seen better days, including some things in the apartment. For example, the bathtub is broken and cannot be used, so is the drying rack (which is a pity!). Additionally, all machines in the "gym" are broken and not usable - and in my opinion should not be listed. Communication with host can be overwhelming with a lot of rules sent to you in the beginning. You also need to sign some papers when checking in - which is not clearly communicated.

Disliked The balcony was locked, maybe due to haze.

Liked All good. Perfect view over Kuchin and all arranged nicely by the host. Lost of space, better value than a hotel!

Liked The location is great; the view is fabulous; the size and configuration of the apartment also great. But it was obvious that it had been a while since anyone has given it the love and care it deserves. With some proper cleaning and little improvements, this could be a magnificent property.

Disliked As above - needs some proper cleaning and minor improvements as it looks rather "tired"

Liked Strategic location with an amazing view! We truly enjoyed our 10-day vacation here. The host was super nice and friendly too. Definitely going to come back again next time. Thank you so much, host, for the excellent hospitality!
