Macalister Mansion, a Member of Design Hotels

Liked Came for the vintage vibe and met my expectations. The room was spacious and huge bathroom. Service was excellent. Enjoyed night cap at the bar...though the signature cocktail was not available.

Disliked Believe the hotel info needs to be updated...the bar by the pool was not operational. Breakfast venue was also not as shown. The Den purported to have a wide selection of whiskeys was not there.

Absolut brilliant 🤩 can’t wait to be back!

Liked Fantastic service from the get-go. We had a welcome drink and the staff showed us to our room. In addition, we were also offered a drink at the bar (of our choice). Facilities in the room is great as well! Breakfast was delicious as well. Good location! Not many rooms here, so it feels a bit more tranquil.

Disliked The pillows had a musty odor, likely because they weren't dried properly after laundering. Could have asked the staff to change it, but was too late and didn't feel like dealing with it. Toilet seat doesn't come with a bidet. Some plugs were difficult to use because of its positioning (especially if you have a big charging brick)

Liked Staff was very friendly and hospitable. Special thanks to Lynn, manager of the Coffee Place, who was exceptional and very attentive to our needs and requests. Great place for latte! The whole mansion was delightfully fragrant and beautifully decorated.

Disliked Quality of cocktails could be better.
