Liked Exceptionally quiet and isolated at the end of kampung. Despite that good security considerations. No monkeys on compound. For a stay away from city with family this works. The pool is warm throughout, even at night. Comfortable rooms.

Disliked It is quite warm during the day. Keeping the glass doors open invites in flies and mosquitoes. Keeping the aircond on and closing the doors helps, but air cond overwork. Limited cooking options - enough for most instant/prepacked foods. Fridge oddly slow to cool. 2 toilets are outside the rooms. Internet/wifi dodgy probably due to unifi coverage. Eating out need to drive quite a bit. Mosquitoes abound - light coils wherever you need to be outside. Need some maintainence in terms of lighting and the remote control for the fixtures. The hedging fence showing some gaps.

Beautiful villa and great location, but let down by maintenance issues and slow communication.

Liked The villa itself is modern, nicely designed and in a good location. The pool was lovely, and the rooms were generally comfortable and pleasant. Host was generally pleasant too.

Disliked There were several issues that affected our stay. The air-conditioning in the living room and one of the bedrooms was not cooling properly despite the windows and doors being kept closed. It only became noticeably cooler late at night, rather than during the daytime when we needed it most. The lights in one of the bathrooms were also not working. Once it became dark in the evening, we could not properly use that bathroom and had to take turns using the other bathroom, which was inconvenient for a larger group. I did flag both the air-conditioning and lighting issues via message during our stay, but the responses were quite delayed, and the issue with the bathroom lights was not really acknowledged. There was also a delay in returning the security deposit. I was initially told it would be refunded within 1–2 working days after checkout, but it took longer than that and required follow-up from my side. I do appreciate that the deposit was eventually returned, but the communication and responsiveness throughout the process could have been better. Overall, the property itself is beautiful and has a lot of potential, but the maintenance issues and slower communication made the stay less seamless than it could have been.
