Dirty apartment with faulty electrics. . Breathtaking views from the 55th floor.
Liked The breathtaking views from the balcony on the 55th floor, with spectacular vistas across Kuala Lumpur including the Petronas Twin Towers and Maybank Tower. The two huge swimming pools on Level 8, beautifully fringed with palm trees, were a real highlight and created a lovely resort-like atmosphere. I also loved discovering the secret rooftop area on Level 66, with its hidden gym and cosy reading nook - a genuinely unexpected and unique feature of the building.
Disliked Unfortunately, there were a number of significant problems which made this a very disappointing and uncomfortable stay. The stay began with a particularly unpleasant debacle involving the building security guard, which was extremely stressful and left a very poor first impression - he physically blocked my access to the lift using his foot and denied me access to the apartment because the owners failed to give me a QR code. The apartment was dirty and poorly maintained. There were visible maintenance issues, including an unfinished ceiling area with exposed electrical components and wiring, and the supplied electrical items all had European-style plugs. The electricity to the entire apartment cut out on occasion, plunging the apartment into darkness, - I became unexpectedly familiar with the fuse box.... The TV did not work from the moment I arrived. I reported this immediately and provided photographs showing that neither of the two remotes worked, including a damaged Samsung remote with the ON button missing. I was told to “use another remote” (!) despite explaining that there was no other remote available. No one subsequently attended or contacted me to resolve the problem. I
