Enjoyable stay at Joti's oasis Chinatown

Liked The host Sam is extremely kind and helpful, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The room is clean and spacious, equipped with air conditioning, several fans, as well as mosquito nets and a plug-in mosquito repellent. The adjoining terrace is wonderful, and the overall atmosphere is very traditional, offering a unique and authentic experience compared to standard hotels. The location is also fantastic—within walking distance of almost all the main sights.

Disliked The bathroom could be improved, and there is no glass on the windows in the room.

Liked Located in a very charming historic building in the heart of old town Melaka. Sam was a great host who made us feel very w lcome

Disliked It's a period building, so some facilities, like the shower, were quite basic - we didn't mind at all as the charm more than compensated for it but just be aware and adjust your expectations accordingly:)

Very welcoming host, charming history and perfectly convenient location.

Liked We loved the historical character of the place, plus having all our privacy upstairs, plus knowing the house is lived in, downstairs.

Disliked It would be lovely if we could open all the windows and be protected from mosquitoes - the net is apparently not enough. We were glad of the aircon though - and no mossies.

Liked Sam was a really warm and nice host, we felt at home in her guest house. Staying there was a real time travel to the past. The location was perfect to explore Malacca. Highly recommended!
