Liked the spaciousness and number of rooms. location.

Disliked 1) cleanliness: the place needs a major pest control cleaning up as every part of the house is infested with lizards, cockroaches and ants. upon entering, the front porch was wet and needed to be mopped to avoid falling. everything in the kitchen stank of cockroaches and we nearly had a heart attack as a cockroach crept out of the dish and cups drawer. to make things worse, there were so many lizards where the mop was stored. once we set up some food on the counter, so many ants started trailing onto the cake and we had to constantly wipe them up to prevent the whole cake being filled with ants. there was a dead lizard inside the pool, so we avoided it altogether. 2) how old and rundown everything was: the doors and cabinet in the bathroom were literally falling apart and rotting due to the water- they are wooden, and very old. the house smelled musty due to how old the whole place is - and there is clearly water seepage throughout the house. 3) uncomfortable- the hall sofas (if you can call them that)- are not only old and uncomfortable, they are badly stained. quite pointless that the terms and conditions state that you should avoid staining anything within the place when most furniture ( and bedding) is already so worn and stained to the point of no return. 4) the toiletries ( soap and shampoos) provided were horrendous - the worst we have ever seen in any of the homestays we have used. Appalling given that we paid RM1700 for one night. How stingy are the owners, really??? 5) the NOISE - there is an active construction right behind the house and the constant knocking and drilling and banging so no one could actually get a good night's sleep or even sit in peace outside the house. So in sum, with all the terms and conditions not only while dealing with the owner (the RM400 deposit) + plastered in and outside the house- the home failed to basically even meet our expectations. dont be fooled by the photos.
