Check in too much of a hassle

Disliked There are just too many steps to check in and communication was incomplete, to make it worse it's hard to reach out to them and response was not timely, especially if you run it without a reception. Communication is jumping to and fro from booking.com and WhatsApp. Someone was checking out while I came, and she told me she had the same issues for checking in. Note that if check in is not sorted out, there is no way to enter. There is no way to leave your luggage either, unless you bump into the cleaner and someone checking out like I did. Even pre communicated for leaving your luggage does not help. Entrance was hard to spot. Not suitable for older folks or if you dislike fussing with details. You will probably spend a significant amount of time sorting how to check in and how to leave your luggage than enjoying malacca. Eventually they help me to get my codes to check in, but it's just too much of a hassle. Overall a poor experience.

Liked Is just at the jonker street walking distance ,great and convinence for those who want to explore . The hotel check-in/out process is fast no problem , thanks to lady boss who running the guest house ,friendly and fast response . The room meet the bacis requirement, is clean ,bed comfortable,Aircon cool, only the tv was have some issue cannot watch, that not affected to us ,we only need a nice and comfortable place for rest a night . Overall good 👍

Liked Lovely little cosy room, with access to hot water for drinks and on the doorstep of all the interesting places in Melacca Helpful staff.

Disliked Because there isn't a window, some people might not like that
