Liked Proximity to family that we were visiting, beautiful limestone hill views, swimming pool and water play area, lovely spacious living dining room, responsive host
Disliked Non en-suite bathroom has a strong smell hence did not use for shower, faulty kettle and tired looking bedrooms. However we still enjoyed our stay!
Liked The view was great and was convenient. Place was clean except for the cockroaches. Kids loved the pool although the shaded area can get really slippery when wet.
Disliked Mould and cockroaches. There was no bowl provided in the kitchen. Also host did not mention there would be a RM150 refundable deposit upfront in case of any damages.
Liked The property owner did not answer my texts and calls at all. Check in time was at 3pm but he stopped replying me from 2pm onwards. He blocked my calls. I called using my friends’ number, no answer as well. I was standing on the streets in front of the property from 3pm until 8:30pm while trying to contact the property owner and booking.com. I asked booking.com for a refund. They assured me that they will refund if the property does not reply within 45 minutes and asked me to book another property for me to go stay, but later when I booked another property bcs the owner did not reply, booking.com ignored me because the property owner informed them that I did not show up.
Disliked VERY TERRIBLE
Liked I absolutely loved the place! The owner was super helpful and responsive, and even suggested great places for us to visit in Ipoh. The stay was very comfortable and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend and stay again!
Disliked My only small suggestion would be to provide some plates and utensils, so guests can have a light snack or meal in the room. The place is so nice that it would be great to spend even more time enjoying it.
