Terrible

Liked Nothing

Disliked Terrible experience. We booked two nights but left after the first. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had. We booked two nights but ended up moving to another hotel after just one night because our entire family was unable to get any proper rest. First, the bedsheets were dirty, with black hair all over them. I had to ask for them to be replaced, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel. The noise was unbearable. There was a party going on until around 1 am, children screaming, doors banging and people constantly knocking. None of us could sleep properly, and I ended up with a headache for the entire following day. The room was advertised as having two bedrooms and a lounge, but the second bedroom was actually part of the lounge area. There was also a huge, extremely bright emergency exit sign that made it difficult for my child to sleep. To make matters worse, the rooms had large mirrors with motion-activated lighting. Every time someone got up to use the bathroom during the night, the mirror would light up brightly and wake whoever was sleeping. Even the most basic amenities were lacking. There was no hand soap at the bathroom sink, only a wall-mounted dispenser inside the shower. When I asked the receptionist for soap, she refused and told me to use the one in the shower instead. Breakfast was equally disappointing, with an extremely limited selection. Coffee wasn’t included and had to be purchased separately. We paid for two nights but couldn’t bear to stay for the second. What was supposed to be a relaxing family stay in Cameron Highlands turned into an exhausting and frustrating experience. I would not recommend this hotel to families, particularly those travelling with young children. Cleanliness, a reasonable level of quiet and basic amenities should be the absolute minimum a hotel provides.
