Liked The impressive sea views from every room were definitely the highlight of our stay. This was actually the main reason I chose to book this apartment. The view is beautiful and peaceful, especially when there is no construction work nearby.
Disliked Unfortunately, the standard of cleanliness was disappointing and, in my opinion, unacceptable. The floor did not feel clean, and there was visible dust and dirt in several areas. The kitchen drawers were dusty and dirty, the area behind the fridge was not clean, and there was also accumulated dust around the edges of the fridge. There was also a safety concern with one of the bar stools, as the back was unstable and I nearly fell when using it. We contacted the property to request a change of the quilt cover because it had a visible stain, but were told this could not be done because the staff member was off, even though it was within the stated working hours of 9am–9pm. We also experienced what appeared to be bites from mites or insects on the sofa and bed, which made us uncomfortable during our stay. On top of this, we were charged RM40 as a non-refundable cleaning fee. Given the condition of the apartment, this was particularly disappointing. I would expect a much higher standard of cleanliness and basic maintenance, especially when a cleaning fee is charged.
