Liked I would highly recommend this hostel. It is one of the best I have ever stayed in. The staff are helpful and the facilities are everything you need for an easy comfortable stay with a good night's sleep. Beds in the dorms are super comfy with clean fresh bedding and very good curtains, a good size too. There is a charging point, reading light, a small locker for valuables and a larger one underneath for your backpack. The air con was fantastic. They have spacious communal areas plus an outside space where you can dry wet things. The showers and toilets are clean and work well. They provide tea and coffee, a communal fridge and a basic breakfast of toast, jam and peanut butter. The location is about 10 min walk from the night / food market and about the same distance to the jetty were you can do island hopping. It feels very safe and secure with key card access. There are plenty of little shops, restaurants and cafes right near. Literally nothing not to like!

Liked Great location, short walk to seafront and near lots of restaurants and shops
Disliked There were issues with the power, seemed to only affect here and not the neighbouring properties. May have been resolved but two nights was woken by the lights flashing on and off and the AC unit beeping and rebooting
Fantastic & Reasonable Price Accommodation for Temporary Stay (Repeated)
Liked 1. Located at Jalan Gaya (Love the Street Market during the weekend morning & Street Food Market on Friday & Saturday nights) 2. Value of money for backpackers (But not budget). 3. Centralised and everything within walking distance, including local attractions. 4. The bed & pillow + blanket are comfortable. Bed curtain for privacy. 5. Clean Shared toilets and cold and hot water showers with good water pressure. Towel provided. 6. Clean & tidy dorm with security access (You will be given a 1-bed mini locker & a 1-luggage locker under your bed). 7. Free simple breakfast and free-flow of hot and cold water available.
Disliked 1. No dedicated mini Surau, but you can use the available space next to your bed for Solat. 2. Be prepared with a blast of AC. A hostel blanket saved me.

Disliked First of all these people mis-advertise this property on booking platforms and then blame the customer. The guy at the reception literally said to me "do you even know the difference between a bed and a person". A couple of sentences earlier he started claiming that they have queen beds, king needs and at some point his calculation added up to 14-beds per room. I cannot know this for sure but he might have had a beer or two whilst working at the reception. I came in very tired and he kept making problems with giving us two beds that we booked and paid for. In terms of the facilities there is not much space to hang out, literally one table next to a pool table for the whole hostel, the beds ladder is high up and if you are a short person you will struggle to climb. The bathrooms are ok but wet all the time so O didn't like to go there and get water on my clothes, bring your own flip flops
