The accommodation is in a very good spot, but the general standard of the appartment could have been much better.
Liked The balcony has a beautiful view of the Petronas Towers. Lovely swimming pool with beautiful views of the Petronas Towers and surrounding area. The accommodation is in a very convenient area - 2 min walk to shopping centre and about a 5 min walk to the train station. Lots of restaurants inside the shopping centre and around the appartment block. (No money exchange close to this accommodation.) I would return to this appartment block if I visit KL again, but might consider to rent one of the other appartments in this block instead of this specific appartment.
Disliked There was sometimes a bad smell coming from a drain pipe - I was unable to exactly work out which drain pipe the smell was coming from. Not enough towel rails and no hooks. Two people might struggle with the limited space (and rails) in this appartment. Better space saving ideas can be implemented for this small space to make it more pleasant for the guests. The extension lead providing power to the fridge and microwave is a trip hazard. The attachment of the toilet seat was broken on the one side. One powerpoint was not working. Sponge mattress with no mattress protector. The duvet cover had a brownish stain on, which is not acceptable. I would rate the overall cleaning of the appartment as poor (4/10). I did not receive a response from the host to my messages in a timely manner - even the confirmation of my booking was not clear enough. I did not receive the arriving instructions on time, which made check-in very stressful. Clearly the host doesn’t have a lot of experience in providing a high standard of holiday accommodation or maybe the host just doesn’t care.
