Dirty and disappointing

Liked 1. Beds and pillows were nice and comfy, owner was very responsive. 2. Had a microwave and convection stove (which we did not use) Fridge was relatively large, which was great. 3. Shops available downstairs selling food, 2 mini marts etc. 4. Parking was not as bad as the other guests said. Easily found parking downstairs facing the unit and was free. There was even a car rental within walking distance (though the car rental shop is not recommended -- their cars were very dirty). 5. Heaters provided in the toilet, and the 2 toilets available made it easy for a family to use. 6. Owner nicely allowed late check out at 12pm for free (though he keeps sending texts that it's at 10.30am so we kept confirming with him that we could stay till 12pm)

Disliked 1. Very dirty: - Had many cockroaches we had to kill that were crawling on the floor, in the toilet and even on the beds (thankfully they were small in size) - Environment around the block and outside the flat was very dirty and had a smell - Kind of expected of Cameron given the hygiene standard of the whole area, but I thought there should be ways to control the roaches at least for guests?? 2. Toilet paper: - Limited provided - 2 rolls given in the drawer that was very dusty and had unwanted items inside, which were gross 3. Cold: -The whole house was extremely cold. No heating provided and wind and cold from the outside affected the whole house - Windows easily opened to its fullest so we can't leave the windows open either. 4. Fans: Fans in each room were small, could not feel the wind much even at max speed 5. No towels provided: We already checked in with the owner about this so we were aware, just to let future guests know that they aren't provided "after COVID". Just do your laundry at the laundromat below. My socks needed many days to dry in the unit. Not a bad point but just FYI for check in and coming into the house: Keys are gotten from the letter box downsta
