Liked Cute hostel in a fantastic location. June was very welcoming & super friendly. Brian’s Bar has fantastic cocktails & we asked Brian what his favourite drink is so he made us rum mixed with pineapple juice & ginger ale, etc drinks that weren’t on the menu but they were delicious!

Disliked Apart from the monster spider I met in the bathroom on day 1, where June was a huge help, no complaints :)

Liked That they have atleast an AC

Disliked Everything, especially the Chinese girl enter reception with full of ego.

Ok stay. Only location is the plus point

Liked The property needs maintenance. Rooms get smelly n bathroom needs an upgrade.

Liked It is in a good location, the bed is nice and there are loads of cats if you like them.

Disliked The place stank of piss and vomit. Was never any soap in the toilets. Only 2 toilets for 3 rooms. I had to ask staff multiple times for toilet paper but they seemed more interested in the bar :( It’s very noisy every night until 1am when the bar closes. Luckily I wasn’t there much and kept myself busy but I guess you get what you pay for.

Liked Excellent location, only a short walk to the beach. Many other solo travellers and very social. The AC in the dorm room was powerful.

Disliked No free toileteries, not even soap provided. The charging point by the bed doesnt support normal malaysian/UK plug type, and the USB connection doesnt work. There is a bar connected to the building and it can be really loud so I'd suggest using earplugs if you intend to sleep before 1am.
