Very bad homestay dirty& gross!!!!!!!

Liked Very bad!!! All of us was so tired and really need a rest. Earlier we ask to check in early but the staff said need to do cleaning. We checked in late at 5pm and surprisingly the house was so messy, dirty and what else just name it!!! So gross!!!! The cleaner turn up after few minutes we checked in. And wanted to clean the house. And its just 1 cleaner to clean a 3storey house with 5 rooms!!! Can imagine how long would it take??? Called the homestay staff but they didnt pickup. They only texted and later send another 3 cleaner to clean up. But waiting for those 3 cleaner also take an hour to arrive!!!!! Saw a lot available homestay nearby but the staff refuae to do so. I have called the staff to talk to them directly but nine of them answered the call. They were just text text and text in the group and i am so damn pissed off. None of them turn up at the homestay to meet us and apologise for what happened. All they do is text text and text again and again.

Disliked 1)Residents area,tourist bus not allowed to enter, so you have to load the luggages a bit far. 2) 3 floors building, have to lift up the heavy luggages to upper floors.

Liked The stay was pleasant, the cleanliness is decent, it's the hidden spots that aren't clean properly, like corners and under the mattress is a bit dusty, have already feedback to owner, overall experience is good. It is a quiet and big enough place to stay for 25 pax. As said, the property doesn't allow heavy cooking due to the limited appliances, but cooking a simple breakfast or instant noodles is still doable. There is sufficient parking space for 2 cars in the porch area, as well as few more opposite the house on the kerb side. The homestay is located in a gated and guarded area, so it is quite safe. Owner is friendly and easy to contact, response almost immediately.

Disliked A little hiccup when self-collecting the keys, but luckily owner was quick to response and resolve the problem. However, there weren't keys to the back door or the window grills, I understand that it may be for safety issues but if a fire breaks out then there will only be one exit through the main door, hopefully owner can consider to provide the keys in the future. There are a few options for breakfast walking distance from the property, but as most shops are closed not sure due to weekends or public holidays, thus we find it a bit limited for breakfast options. Most of the good food areas are mostly in town. There are short in air-condition remotes, so we had to bring the remote around the house when we turn the air-condition on and off. Dishwash soap was insufficient and they weren't extras anywhere.
