Liked The room was clean and had a great vibe. The AC worked great and there was hot water. The owners are a very nice couple who treat you like family. They have all the information about Sarawak and may even go out to grab food with you. We had a wonderful time here. Thanks so much :)
Liked Friendly and helpful host that provided plenty of tourism information. Although it was not in the centre of Kuching, it was still close enough to walk to, especially along the front. Tea and coffee facilities and nice semi outdoor showers. 7-11 and nice food places close by.
Disliked Not sure if it’s permanent, but you could not open the windows in the room which meant no proper ventilation.
Liked The hosts are great. They actually moved us to a better room (without us saying anything) after our first night as it had been noisy outside, so the 2nd room had better soundproofing. The hostel is basic but nice with a good communal area with couches and cushions. Nice showers, and free hot drinks.
Disliked Our first room on the top floor wasn't soundproofed and the bed was uncomfortable (but they moved us anyway)
Liked The owners are very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and the semi-outdoor showers really nice. The guesthouse is located 15min walk from the center of the city and right next to a great restaurant street. Good value for money.
Disliked WiFi is very slow. The facilities are quite basic.
