Memorable heritage stay as it takes you back in time. Will definitely return.
Liked The room was clean, well laid out, and the bed was comfortable for a relaxing sleep. Fantastic location, close to numerous places to eat within a short walking distance. Love the heritage feel of the lodge. Very attentive staff and super helpful.
Disliked The cupboard should be looked at, as the doors are difficult to open. The blades of the ceiling fan need cleaning. There is a restaurant in the lodge, but unfortunately it was not operating.

Great place to hang around for two or three days! If you prefer quiet and clean place to stay!
Liked The lodge location in World Heritage Georgetown on the quiet side is the real plus! Within walking distance to many great cafe (Yun Sourdough, amazing sort of breakfast and coffee! Tian's Nyonya Great Food and very friendly family) and other tourists trap restaurant). The room is impecabble clean, the staff give you great tea and local desert (kueh). Very quiet and clean, very nice furniture from the area. Will be back and can only recommend.
Disliked Ach, nothing to complain.

Perfect Short Stay for 2 Adults
Liked Incredible location! Multiple Michelin restaurants and hawker centers steps from the lodge. Staff is lovely and provides daily cleaning. We extended our stay from 1 to 4 nights because we enjoyed it so much.
Disliked Nothing! Highly recommend

Relax and memorable stay.
Liked Betel Nut Lodge is a small hotel right in the middle of George Town, perfectly located with places of interests and food all within walking distances. The rooms are very clean, quiet and comfortable although not big. I liked that internet is fast and staff very friendly. Definitely will recommend this little gem to my friends and can't wait to stay again if I return to Penang
Disliked All is good..

Lovely stay, worth the money
Liked The parking is free, however you need to luck finding it first (if the one nearest to hotel is filled, you might have to walk a bit from your car to the hotel).
The check in/check out process was very smooth. The receptionist on both days was very nice and kind.
The room was nice. It's based on traditional build but still feel comfortable. However, the size is a bit packed so you might have trouble to move around. The location is also very good, very near to most Nasi Kandar, the alley tourist spot and terminal bus (11 min)
Disliked The size of the room is a bit small but not troublesome.
