Liked The staff is so helpful! Couldn’t have asked for better. They helped me out even 2 days after my checkout to store my luggage for a couple hours. The room is nice too. It’s comfortable, especially for 1-2 people.

Comfortable stay in a convenient location.

Liked I had a very comfortable stay at AJ residence. In fact at the end of my trip I had another night in KK and decided to stay here again. The entrance to the hotel is very unassuming but after you enter the premises it is completely different. The rooms are warm, welcoming and modern. The staff are fantastic. They were in communication with me from before I even checked in and were ready to help me check in when I arrived, even having the air conditioner turned on in the room in preparation. The room itself has everything you need, from a range of toiletries, to different charging cables and even a diffuser for the hairdryer! The location is also fantastic - 10 min from the airport, loads of good restaurants within walking distance.

Disliked Everything was great. I'd simply like to point out that this accommodation is perfect for solo travellers and couples might find it a bit cramped depending on the type of room you get. There might also be some noise from the street or the neighbours but they provide earplugs so it was fine.

Fabulous room, fabulous location and fabulous staff!

Liked We loved our stay here and cannot recommend it enough. The room is a good size, with a comfortable bed and a separate shower and toilet. The shower was good, with very good water pressure and nice and hot. Shampoo and body wash are provided in small bottles but there are plenty of repleshiments in the shared hallway. Here an umbrella, iron and ironing board can also be found. A kettle and fridge are also in the room. The room was very clean and modern and we were never woken from outside noise, despite our room facing the street. Staff were amazing, they would reply in the same minute over WhatsApp and helped with suggestions for car rental and laundry. They also assisted with luggage on check in. The WiFi was excellent and the air con was great and not too loud either. The property is a short 10 minute walk from the waterfront, where the sunsets are amazing! We cannot recommend this property enough, and wouldn’t hestiate to stay again if we ever found ourselves back in Kota Kinabalu.

Liked We LOVED this place! So clean, so many amenities. Really nice size rooms, and most of all the most amazing staff. They were exceptionally kind and attentive and immediately resolved any issues or concerns! Would totally recommend and hope to come back again! It was within walking distance from many restaurants and shops!

Liked The room was just as described. Very clean. The staff even allowed us to check in early. It was easy to contact the staff via watsapp and they responded quickly. Location was fantastic. Will definitely stay again.
