Liked I truly enjoyed my stay here! The house is unlike anything I’ve stayed in before. I was in Room 2 and the place had everything you could possibly need. The location is unbeatable, a walking distance from pretty much anywhere you’d want to be in Penang, which made the whole stay so seamless. The staff and volunteers took this experience to another level, super helpful, great at giving recommendations, and just really made the experience feel personal and warm.

Disliked One small heads up though, the house is old so the floors are a little creaky, which gave me a slightly eerie feeling when I first arrived! But that was genuinely the only thing. Otherwise the stay was absolutely perfect and I’d 100% recommend it.

Liked Full of character, well supplied and huge shared kitchen/living space. Fantastic location and very comfortable room.

Disliked Quite a bit of noise could be heard from the outside - completely understandable though being in an old period building.

Surpassed largely our expectations

Liked I was intrigued when looking at the building facade. It looks old and in need of renovation. However once you get in you have an open place, very cosy with all the amenities. The room is spacious, with very good lighting. We felt very comfortable and it really exceeded our expectations

Disliked The look from the outside. The lock to the apartment felt sloopy
