A quaint space to wind down and enjoy life a little

Liked The location, the hosts and the property were phenomenal. We were very glad to have booked this stay. It was cosy, quiet, quaint and comfortable. The breakfast and high tea were also scrumptious. The best part was that it was close to the street food carts and a number of great cafes, shops and bars. We were able to see a lot on foot. The cats on the property were a bonus.

Disliked Everything was great but there were a couple of things that could have made it a perfect 10. The bathroom door didn't close all the way through. We weren't able to roll the blinds all the way up. And we couldn't access any streaming services on the TV.

Liked Friendly staff, resident cat (Orange) and the ‘homey’ feel. Gives you a glimpse of how the upper middle class families then lived and raised their families

Wonderful stay!!

Liked Loved it! Very quiet, calm, and it truly feels like home. All the staff are friendly and helpful, making you feel very welcome and comfortable throughout your stay. They are always ready to assist whenever you need them. There is also evening tea served throughout your stay, accompanied by local delicacies, which is such a lovely touch. A special shout-out to Zaini! She is super friendly and always checks on us to make sure we are comfortable and have everything we need. The restaurant is also worth trying. They serve one of the best steaks — juicy, tender and delicious! The mushroom soup was excellent too. I only hope they can offer a little more variety in their main courses. Overall, a lovely and peaceful stay with warm hospitality, good food, and a real home-away-from-home feeling.

Disliked Weekend nights can be a little noisy as there are quite a few pubs around, but thankfully, the noise doesn’t get too loud or go on too late. Since the place is also close to the roadside, you can sometimes hear motorbikes revving as they pass by. Other than that, it’s a peaceful and pleasant place to stay.

Might get something better elsewhere in Georgetown

Liked It’s a unique setup of this hotel, converted from a household setup into hotels. Historical feel

Disliked The photo looks way better than our actual room. The floor is dusty and bed are not so comfortable. Everything needs a good deep cleanup. Shower even needs an upgrade, the sink didn’t work properly, I was always showing inside a pool of water.

A beautiful homely feeling with so much character and charm in an amazing location

Liked So much heritage charm, a beautiful relaxing haven after a day of sweaty exploring. Huge bathrooms, great art and decor. Staff very helpful and friendly. Second time staying at 23 LoveLane and would definitely stay again

Disliked Breakfast buffet kept slightly more chilled (although I only got up for breakfast later)
